Don’t Recognize a Charge on your Debit Card?

  • If there is a phone number included with the merchant information on your statement, we recommend calling the merchant to make sure it is not a purchase that may have been initiated but under a different business name.
  • Still don’t recognize the transaction, this might be Fraud.
    • Give us a call at 620-345-6317 or stop by your local branch.
    • We will Close your card to keep other potential fraudulent transactions from coming through
    • We will review your transactions to make sure nothing else has come through
    • We will issue you a new card – Need a card soon, all our locations can instant issue debit cards.
    • We will have you sign Fraud Dispute paperwork to complete the process.

Recognize a Charge but something is incorrect?

  • Make sure the charge has posted to your account (No longer Pending). We can not dispute a transaction until it has posted.
  • Most times the quickest way to resolve a dispute is to reach out to the merchant about your incorrect item as it can take us up to 50 days to resolve a dispute with a merchant
  • Double check paper and digital receipts – it’s easy to confuse transactions or forget about tips.
  • Check with anyone you may have authorized to use your card to make sure they didn’t make the charge.
  • Still need to file a dispute give us a call at 620-345-6317 or stop by your local branch.
    • We will close your card to keep additional charges that may be incorrect from coming through
    • We will issue you a new card – Need a card soon, all our locations can instant issue debit cards
    • We will have you complete and sign a Cardholder Letter telling us information about the disputed transaction.

When a dispute is filed, we will give you provisional credit for the disputed transaction, but you still may be responsible for the disputed amount and have the credit removed in the future.
