About Children’s Online Privacy

The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) was passed to give parents increased control over what information is collected from their children online and how such information is used. The law applied to websites and services directed to, and which knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 13. The Citizens State Bank websites and online services are not directed to children under the age of 13, nor is information knowingly collected from them.

We have implemented technical, administrative and physical security measures that are designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use and modification. From time to time, we review our security procedures to consider appropriate new technology and methods. However, you should understand that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

Mobile Application Deletion

The Google Play Store along with The Apple App Store has implemented a requirement for The Citizens State Bank to provide our customers with the ability to request removal of their app accounts and any associated data. This requirement is the latest of many recent compliance updates from Google and Apple related to user privacy and data safety.

To request removal of your Mobile/Online Banking profile, please submit this secure form with the message “Remove Online Banking” being sure to complete all required fields and a phone number we have on file to reach you at. One of our representatives will be in touch with you within 5 business days to confirm the request is valid and initiate the process. You may also give us a call at 620-327-4941 during regular business hours to make the removal request.

Upon execution of this request, The Citizens State Bank will delete your Mobile/Online Banking profile and associated data. Historical user information will be retained. Following the deletion of your Online Banking profile, your banking accounts will remain open, and your account transaction history will remain in our main system’s history, but Mobile/Online banking will no longer be accessible or available to any party.
